OptoNanoHeat develops a low-power laser melting technology that produces high local temperatures to melt metal, alloy, and ceramics, enabling 3D printing with precision and lower energy costs than ever before. 

What we offer

We invented a new photothermal melting method based on plasmonic nanomaterials. This invention provides a system and method of depositing layers of molten composite material on substrates at a lower substrate temperature than heretofore possible using a fraction of laser power. The process reduces the operation cost, eliminates safety hazards, and is compatible with a wide range of ceramic and metal materials.
